I am more comfortable implementing naturalistic teaching strategies and person-directed planning that use a learner's interests and environment to ensure that skill development is as engaging and feasible for the learner. I am knowledgeable in assisting people in developing their academic, social, and coping skills, as well as in activities of daily living using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) equipment.

I like working with individuals and seeing improvements no matter how slow or small, supporting and celebrating each milestone reached.
